MUET E-SEMINAR PREPARES UMPSA CANDIDATES FOR SESSION 3

The Competency Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang As-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised a comprehensive MUET E-Seminar on 22nd November 2024 for all UMPSA candidates sitting for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) this December, Session 3. The seminar, held via Google Meet platform attracted students who were eager to enhance their study strategies and boost their performance. It provided valuable insights into each test component, equipping participants with essential strategies to excel.

PEKAN, 11 October 2024 - Centre for Modern Languages successfully hosted an insightful webinar forum on the theme “Harnessing AI Technology for Multimodal Language Learning: Innovations and Best Practices”. The forum brought together panelists, educators, and participants to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in language education. The audience were from organizations such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Taiyuan Foreign Language School, China, UM, USM, UKM, UTM, USM, UniMAP, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah, Tunku Abdul Rahman University, KPM IM, IPGM, and secondary schools around Malaysia.

UMPSA SHINES AT THE HE ELCA 2024 GREEN CITY CHALLENGE

UMPSA Gambang, 9 November 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) team made a memorable impression at the Green City Challenge during the Higher Education English Language Carnival (HE ELCa) 2024. The event, which was held at the university's sports complex, featured 14 distinguished teams from various public universities, showcasing their creativity and innovation for the challenge.

LITTLE LEARNERS, BIG FUTURE: PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONAL APPROACHES FOR TEACHING ENGLISH TO YOUNG LEARNERS WORKSHOP 1.0

28 September 2024 – A team of skilled trainers from the Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully conducted “Little Learners, Big Future: Practical Instructional Approaches for Teaching English to Young Learners Workshop 1.0” at Dewan Tun Fatimah, UMPSA Gambang, Kuantan, Pahang. The workshop was a joint effort with Persatuan Pendidikan Awal Kanak-Kanak (PPAKK), Pahang. The primary objectives of the workshop were to increase self-confidence among early childhood educators in using English, enhance English proficiency among early childhood educators, and introduce interactive teaching techniques to support effective English instruction in early childhood education.
