PEKAN, 13 February 2025 – The Centre for Modern Languages (CML) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has achieved a major milestone by developing 20 micro-credentials since 2021, surpassing the university’s initial target of eight. This accomplishment places CML ahead of 10 other faculties and centres, making a significant impact on UMPSA’s 2021-2025 key performance indicators (KPIs).
A dedicated team of 35 subject matter experts (SMEs) played a crucial role in developing these modules, ensuring quality through systematic planning, validated by the Ministry, MQA, and UMPSA, with CIReL’s support. The modules cover a range of topics, including technical presentations, public speaking, linguistics, language in society, and sustainability in education. They are available on UMPSA’s e-learning platform, TINTA (https://tinta.ump.edu.my), for students and associates.
