SUCCESSFUL GLOBAL CLASSROOM INITIATIVE ENGAGES UHL2432 ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION STUDENTS WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS

The Centre for Modern Languages at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) recently celebrated the success of its Global Classroom initiative, a collaborative educational programme that connected UMPSA students with lecturers from The University of Auckland, Hiroshima University, Keio University, and industry partner ResMed.

Unit Sukan dan Rekreasi dengan kerjasama Unit Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Pusat Bahasa Moden telah menganjurkan program Langkah Merdeka: Jalan Pagi Bersama Untuk Hidup Sihat & Ceria pada 15 Ogos 2024 bertempat di sekitar Pusat Bahasa Moden (PBM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Pekan. Program berkonsepkan gaya hidup sihat ini diadakan sejajar dengan inisiatif pelaksanaan Program Gaya Hidup Sihat di peringkat universiti dan pusat tanggungjawab di UMPSA.

DOUBLE TRIUMPH: CROWNED A GOLD AND BEST OF CATEGORY AWARD!

An innovation in teaching and learning through game-based approach has successfully secured a gold medal and astonishingly won the best of category award in Invention, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Idea Exhibition 2024 (IIEE’24) organized from 14 – 15 August in Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Kuantan.

FOSTERING A LOVE FOR READING: UMPSA’S INSPIRING READING CIRCLE AT SK JUARA, PULAU TIOMAN

On August 22, 2024, the Centre for Modern Languages at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Juara, Pulau Tioman, organized the "Reading Circle," a community service program aimed at fostering a love of reading among students. English books were also donated, giving the students access to a wider variety of reading materials.

VOCABOOST 2.0: BUILDING TIOMAN LITTLE AMBASSADORS’ CONFIDENCE IN ENGLISH

Pulau Tioman, 22 August 2024 A dynamic community project was recently conducted by a group of ten dedicated associates from the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), led by Associate Professor Dr Zuraina Ali. This initiative is part of the prestigious Profesor Turun Padang (PTP) programme, which is run by the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Centre for Industry & Community Linkages.
