HANOI, 23 June 2025 - The Faculty of Tourism, Hanoi Open University, organised an online workshop titled “Intercultural Communication” as part of the “Sustainable Tourism for a Better Future” project for their students.

PORT DICKSON, 10 June 2025 – The implementation of the Service Learning Malaysia – University for Society (SULAM) initiative under the supervision of the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) through the project Public Service Announcement Videos of Ornamental Fish for Global Engagement was successfully carried out in close collaboration with the Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Centre. A total of 29 students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, pursuing the Bachelor of Building Construction Technology with Honours and enrolled in the Essential English course (ULE1352), took part in the project. They were guided and mentored by several staff members from the English Language Division, including senior lecturers and senior English language instructors such as Dr. Fatimah Ali, Associate Professor Dr. Hafizoah Kassim, Nur Syafawati Sabuan, Arulselvi Uthayakumaran, Norsuhardiliana Sahar, and Aisyah Hanum Abu Bakar.
PEKAN, 28 April 2025 - It was a remarkable day, as we had the privilege of attending a lecture on personal image management by Dr. Wendy Lee, the founder of Chapter One Asia, and also the Adjunct Professor CEO@Faculty for Centre for Modern Languages UMPSA. The session, divided into four insightful segments, profoundly enriched our understanding.
SERDANG, 19 June 2025 - This year, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition event at its Serdang campus, in collaboration with its co-host, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Two postgraduate students from the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), proudly represented the university at the competition under the Social Science category.
