PEKAN, November 2024 - The Centre for Modern Languages (CML) proudly completed its community service project, Fishtales 2024, in collaboration with the Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Center. The project involved the meticulous translation of 100 ornamental fish descriptions from Malay to English, a significant step towards increasing global accessibility to local aquatic biodiversity knowledge.

The translation work was undertaken by CML’s dedicated academic staff, whose expertise ensured accurate translations. The initiative not only aimed to promote Malaysia’s rich aquatic resources but also emphasized the importance of language as a bridge for cultural and scientific exchange.

UMPSA Kampus Pekan, 19 Oktober 2024 - Bersempena dengan Majlis Konvokesyen ke-19 (MKK19) Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Unit Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) Pusat Bahasa Moden (PBM), dengan kerjasama Pusat Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat (PJIM) telah menganjurkan Program Kelestarian EKSA. Pelaksanaan program ini turut mendapat sokongan daripada tiga staf Pusat Pembangunan dan Pengurusan Harta (PPPH) yang bertanggungjawab dalam penyediaan lokasi dan pokok bagi program ini.

PEKAN, 25 November 2024 – Pusat Bahasa Moden (PBM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) telah melaksanakan Kempen Pelupusan Mushaf dan Bahan Bercetak Teks al-Quran yang diadakan bersempena dengan Minggu Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) baru-baru ini.

Kempen itu mencapai kejayaan yang membanggakan dengan jumlah bahan bercetak teks al-Quran yang berjaya dikumpulkan mencecah 3,873 kilogram. 

The Competency Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang As-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised a comprehensive MUET E-Seminar on 22nd November 2024 for all UMPSA candidates sitting for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) this December, Session 3. The seminar, held via Google Meet platform attracted students who were eager to enhance their study strategies and boost their performance. It provided valuable insights into each test component, equipping participants with essential strategies to excel.
