RCP 2025: CULTIVATING YOUNG MINDS

IJLEAL SECURES SCOPUS INDEXING: A DECADE OF GROWTH AND EXCELLENCE

The International Journal of Language Education and Applied Linguistics (IJLEAL) achieved a remarkable milestone by being accepted into Scopus in September 2025. This recognition signifies over a decade of growth, perseverance, and academic excellence for a journal that started its journey in 2014 under Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Press and has been actively managed by the Centre for Modern Languages (CML). 

HARI AUDIT DALAMAN EKSA 2025 ZON PBM

PEKAN, 18 September 2025 – Zon Pusat Bahasa Moden (PBM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) terus memperkukuh komitmen terhadap pelaksanaan Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) dengan Audit Dalaman EKSA 2025 yang berlangsung pada jam 10.00 pagi di bangunan PBM, Pekan.

HARI BADMINTON PBM YANG PENUH CERITA

“Out!” Bulu tangkis yang jatuh di luar garisan dipungut semula. “Siapa serve?” soalan yang memecah hening petang itu dengan riuh tawa. Bukan hanya empat pemain di gelanggang, bahkan rakan-rakan di tepi gelanggang turut ketawa. Petang Jumaat itu terasa lebih ringan, seolah-olah penat seharian bekerja hilang bersama setiap pukulan bulu tangkis.

STORYFEST COACHING SERIES BRINGS STORYTELLING TO PEKAN STUDENTS

PEKAN, 1 AUGUST 2025 – For the very first time, the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), in collaboration with the Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Pekan (PPAP), brought the Storyfest Coaching Series to Pekan. The coaching series was held at the Pekan Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., commencing on 4 July and concluding on 1 August. The programme gathered 24 Form 1 and Form 2 students from 12 schools across Pekan, with each school nominating two participants to be coached in the art of storytelling. The initiative aimed to provide young learners with a meaningful platform to grow, while also preparing them for the Storyfest Storytelling Competition, scheduled to take place on 11 August 2025 at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Convention Hall in conjunction with the Pekan Book Carnival 2025.
