9TH October 2021 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang through its Centre for Modern Languages (CML) and Centre for International Relations (CIR) again managed to organize a virtual summer camp this year, this time with a group of 12 students from Hebei University, China who were joined by their liaison officer, Ms. Lisa Zhang Mengxue.
06 OCTOBER 2021 - A Webinar entitled Psychosocial: Management of Emotional Stress While Working from Home was held using the Microsoft team platform as one of the initiatives of the Occupational Safety and Health Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML).
23 September 2021 – The RCP curtain had finally been rung down after several rounds of RCP discussion sessions conducted during the preliminary semester with UHL2442 Essential English students. The Award Ceremony which was virtually organized via Microsoft Teams officially signaled the end of this 6-week programme and Mr. Shamsul Harbi was given the honour to host it.
On 30th September 2021, Department of English Language, Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, through its Community Service Unit had conducted a CSR program with Markas 4 Briged (Mekanize). The CSR program called Speak Up! was the second collaboration between CML and Mekanize. What differentiated it from last year was, this year the program went virtual via Google Meet.
16th- 20th of August 2021, Centre for Modern Languages and Centre for International Relations, Universiti Malaysia Pahang launched its first virtual summer camp, Rasa Sayang Camp: Destination Malaysia 2021.
