The Seminar Linguistik Dan Bahasa 2023 (Linguistics and Language Seminar, Series 2), took place successfully on June 15, 2023.

The conference was organized by the School of Humanities (Pusat Pengajian Ilmu Kemanusiaan) and the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation (Pusat Pengajian Bahasa, Literasi dan Terjemahan), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in collaboration with Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.

GAMBANG — UMP Mandarin Language Society (MLS) successfully organized the Han Yu Pin Yin Competition last Saturday, June 10, 2023. Esteemed judges for the competition included Ms. Lee Cheng May from Centre of Modern Language, Ms. Zhang Xian, and Ms. Bai Guan Yi from Confucius Institute at UMP.

On May 26, 2023, the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) had planned and organized a training for facilitators at X-DK-01 (PSK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

This initiative was part of the collaboration between the UMP Mandarin Language Society (MLS), Centre for Modern Languages, and GIFT Education Studio to organize a Community Service (CSR) charity event involving career visits and university admission consultation.

GAMBANG — On Friday, May 12, 2023, the UMP Mandarin Language Society (MLS) organised a Chinese traditional painting workshop and renowned Chinese teacher from Confucius Institute, Ms. Zhang Xian, as the workshop instructor.
