The Centre for Modern Languages at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah recently hosted a ground-breaking Advanced Global Classroom (GC) event. Conducted on April 18, 2023, via Microsoft Teams, this event brought together enthusiastic UMPSA students enrolled in the Arabic for Beginners (UHF1141) course for Semester II 2022/2023.

This was the spirit of the Enigma English programme, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative by the CSR Unit, Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. The programme was held at SK Kampung Acheh, Pekan, Pahang on November 17, 2023.
4 November 2023 – The Centre of International Relations (CIR), in collaboration with the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) as well as Confucius Institute (CI) and Centre for Strategic Academic Relations (CSAR), hosted International Fiesta at Astaka Hall, UMPSA Paya Besar Campus.
Virtual Reality (VR) has evolved rapidly from two-dimensional (2D) text-based online virtual environments to more sophisticated three-dimensional (3D) virtual spaces and avatars. Recent studies have even classified VR into low-immersion VR and high-immersion VR.
The Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has embarked on an international community service project at the Writing Centre, Hiroshima University (HU), Japan.
The programme kicked off with five sessions of webinar series from September 11 – 15, 2023, with the theme “Empowering Learners Worldwide towards Quality Education,” prior to the on-campus visit from October 2 to 4, 2023 in Hiroshima, Japan.
