KUALA LUMPUR - The Centre for Modern Languages (CML) at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) conducted a Study Committee Meeting at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 24 February 2024 with a few industrial experts to obtain feedback about the current curriculum and to cater the needs for the development of postgraduate program that align closely with the industry demands.
Pusat Bahasa Moden UMPSA telah menganjurkan Mesyuarat bersama Panel-panel Lantikan Luar pada 24-25 Mac 2024 bertempat di Hotel Seri Pacific, Kuala Lumpur. Penganjuran mesyuarat berkonsepkan serampang tiga mata ini melibatkan tiga mesyuarat bersama panel berasingan iaitu Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Pengajian, Mesyuarat Panel Pemegang Taruh berserta Mesyuarat Panel Penasihat Industri.
In a stride towards enhancing academic communication skills, UHL2412 English for Academic Communication course has accomplished two successful Global Classrooms at the outset of 2024. Both sessions, held on January 11, 2024, Thursday, proved to be enlightening experiences for the students. The first 2-hour session in the morning commenced with a compelling talk delivered by Mr. Andri Wardana from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand.
21 February 2024 - The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem, better known as EKSA, is a rebranding exercise of Public Sector 5S practice. The initiative aims to strengthen the organisational culture of high performance and innovation among public sector agencies by providing a conducive environment, work culture, and positive values for public servants. In the spirit of EKSA, the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), is also implementing this practice to meet its objectives. In preparation for the upcoming Internal Audit on February 29th for the EKSA Award, which coincides with Hari Kualiti dan Inovasi 2024, the CML family joined hands for a gotong-royong to clean and organise the central administrative office in Pekan.
15 February 2024 - In an attempt to investigate the living and breathing landscape of Virtual Reality (VR) technology, six academic members of the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah embarked on a benchmarking session that led and transported them through the dynamic universe of VAR LIVE, an innovative virtual reality theme park and into the sophistication of Virtual Online Future Technology and Extended Reality (VORTEX XR) Lab at Taylor’s University.
