PEKAN, 26 February 2025 – The Division of English Language (DEL), Centre for Modern Languages (CML), successfully held the Course Review Workshop (CRW) for Semester 2, Session 2024/2025, from 24 to 26 February 2025 at the CML Faculty Meeting Room. The CRW is a twice-yearly event where DEL academic staff engage in discussions within designated teams to review English courses, enhance teaching approaches, and ensure alignment with the centre’s academic objectives.
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 February 2025 - Jornada 1a Internacional De Ele (The 1st International of Ele) Seminar was organized by Asociación de profesores y estudiantes de la lengua Española en Malasia in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, Aula Cervantes, Universidad de Alcalá (Spain) and Universiti Malaya. This prestigious seminar brought together Spanish language teachers, lecturers, and enthusiasts across Malaysia and Spain.
Among the attendees was Azlina Mohd Ariffin, a Senior Language Teacher from the Centre for Modern Languages, UMPSA, who had the valuable opportunity to participate in this informative seminar.
PEKAN, 20 - 21 February 2025 - Research and Innovation Department at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) organised a workshop on research writing and publication from 20 to 21 February 2025. This event was conducted at Incubator Area, Level 5, Faculty of Computing, UMPSA Pekan Campus, involving 69 lecturers from all faculties. Eleven of them were from the Centre for Modern Languages (CML).
PEKAN, 16 until 17 JANUARY 2025 – The Innovative & Creative Group (KIK) is making a strong comeback! On 16-17 January 2025, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) launched its first KIK workshop of the year at the Training Hall, Registrar's Office, DiTec Building, Pekan campus.
Organised by the Centre for Strategic and Quality Management (PPSK), the two-day event, Bengkel Pembangunan Kumpulan Inovatif & Kreatif (KIK) Horizon Baharu UMPSA 2025, marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for KIK and set a dynamic tone for the year ahead.
