The Covid-19 pandemic has shifted the entire process of foreign languages teaching and learning into the online platform. These courses are ​​offered by the Department of Foreign Languages, DFL ​​of the Center for Modern Languages, CML, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, UMP.

13 AUGUST 2021 – A webinar on literary components was held as part of the UHL2442 Essential English course and in conjunction with the Reading Circle Programme 2021. It was a joint venture between the Language Support Unit of Centre for Modern Languages and UHL2442 Essential English course.

Thursday 19 August 2021- A short moderation meeting was held via Google Meet with two invited judges for the 2^nd CInTeLL (Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language) 2021 or known as ClnTeLL 2021 competition. This competition is created to showcase the latest teaching innovations and practices through a virtual exhibition competition.

Kuantan - Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), in collaboration with Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Jogjakarta, had successfully organized the 3^rd International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2021 (ICoLLT 2021), held from August 24-25, 2021. In accordance with the conference, Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language (CinTeLL) 2021 was also organized on 26 August 2021 as a platform to showcase the latest teaching innovations and practices through a virtual exhibition competition.
