The Competency Unit, an executive unit under Centre for Modern Languages (CML) has successfully developed a new system for the UMP community to register and make payment for their Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
The new system helps not only the community but benefits the administrative personnel in the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) who are responsible in ensuring the registration is done smoothly and effectively at the time given by the Malaysian Examination Council (MPM).
12 January 2022 – GIGvaganza, one of the prime Centre for Modern Languages (CML) programmes has gone one step further when UMP Advanced or known as UMPA has requested this program to be held in Mersing, Johor.
It was successfully organized on 6 December 2022 for Yayasan Petronas and Empower East Coast Region (ECER) Mersing in SMK Anjung Batu, Mersing, Johor.
As educators progressively shift from print to digital instructional materials, the educators’ exertion to creatively digitalised the materials merit some recognition.

30 August 2022 – The Competency Unit of Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has successfully organised a one-day workshop on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for MUET on 25 August 2022, from 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.
2022 finds us opportunities and challenges, yet we committed ourselves to fight a good fight in our lives. At the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), thanks to the dedication, support and passion of all academicians, administrators and the technical team, everything was made possible. 2022 has been a great year, and here are some of the amazing chapters captured through the lens.
