The Covid-19 pandemic has shifted the entire process of foreign languages teaching and learning into the online platform. These courses are ​​offered by the Department of Foreign Languages, DFL ​​of the Center for Modern Languages, CML, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, UMP.

CInTELL 2021 VIRTUAL MODERATION WITH THE JUDGES

Thursday 19 August 2021- A short moderation meeting was held via Google Meet with two invited judges for the 2nd CInTeLL (Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language) 2021 or known as ClnTeLL 2021 competition. This competition is created to showcase the latest teaching innovations and practices through a virtual exhibition competition.

RCP 2021 WEBINAR: INTRODUCTION TO LITERARY COMPONENTS

13 AUGUST 2021 – A webinar on literary components was held as part of the UHL2442 Essential English course and in conjunction with the Reading Circle Programme 2021. It was a joint venture between the Language Support Unit of Centre for Modern Languages and UHL2442 Essential English course.

ICoLLT 2021

Kuantan - Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), in collaboration with Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Jogjakarta, had successfully organized the 3rd International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2021 (ICoLLT 2021), held from August 24-25, 2021. In accordance with the conference, Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language (CinTeLL) 2021 was also organized on 26 August 2021 as a platform to showcase the latest teaching innovations and practices through a virtual exhibition competition.

CInTeLL 2021

26 August 2021. Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia, has successfully organised the 2nd CInTeLL (Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language) via Zoom. This year, CInTeLL 2021 focused on four emerging themes, namely, Online Learner Engagement (OLE), Transformative Language Learning and Teaching Strategies (TLLTS), Technology-Enhanced Language Learning and Teaching (TELLT), and Language Curriculum Development (LCD).
