Pahang – On the 12th and 13th of September 2020, Kindy Talk (KT) training team consisted of five trainers had conducted a two-days training called Kindy Talk Training: Communication English for preschool teachers in Pahang and Terengganu.
11 September 2020 – Since Sem 2, 2018/2019, MScTILS by coursework has been offered by CML to the public. Currently, this program has 7 part time students. To maintain standards according to MQA requirements an External Assessor (EA) was appointed to oversee the program. Hence, a 3-day workshop was held in UMP Pekan from 2 nd – 4 th of September 2020.
In complying with the government order during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), UMP with no exception has to comply with the new norm. On May 27th and 28th, 2020, CML Occupational Safety & Health Committee assisted by a number of administrative and technical staff initiated the tasks to prepare the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the staff to return-to-work.
Five staff from Centre for Modern Languages (CML) have been working hard in assisting the residential students who are staying in the residential colleges during the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
The session on A Beginner’s Guide to Journal Writing using IMRaD Technique was shared by Associate Professor Dr Zuraina Ali, a lecturer from Department of English. It was a 45 minute session conducted on Google Meet, 14 May 2020 that began at 10:00 a.m. The session was part of the initiatives from MScTILS team of CML to promote our postgraduate programme by coursework.
