Pekan, 3rd May 2021 – COVID-19 has obviously caused major impacts on education where online learning is currently the new norm during this global pandemic. Since the first Movement Control Order (MCO) was imposed on 18th March 2020 to curb the virus from spreading, the traditional form of face-to-face education has been reformed to online learning.
9 June 2021- Professional Development Unit in collaboration with Psychology and Counseling Unit, Hospital Putrajaya have successfully organised a 2-hour online webinar on Momentum Hidup via Webex and Hospital Putrajaya Facebook live from 2.30p.m to 4.30p.m. with almost 400 participants.
10th June 2021, an online meeting between CML and British Council was held via Google Meet regarding Aptis. British Council was represented by Mr Tan Dencoln (Business Development Manager, Exams), Mr Tan Chen Yong (Account Relationship Manager, Exams), and Mr Rifhan Rozlan (Programme Manager, StudyUK).
Centre for Modern Languages had successfully conducted a Global Classroom (GC) for Arabic for Beginners (UHF1141) course. This GC was held on 30 of April 2021 via an online platform (Google Meet).
Centre for Modern Languages had successfully conducted a Global Classroom (GC) for Malay for Intermediate (UHF2161) course. This GC was held on 7 of June 2021 via an online platform (Google Meet). Participants of this event were among the UMP students who enrolled in Malay for Intermediate course in Semester II, 2021 and a number of international students who voluntarily joined this Global Classroom.
