MUET E-SEMINAR 2022 FOR UMP MUET CANDIDATES

11 March 2022 – Competency Unit of Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) had successfully organized MUET E-Seminar 2022 via MS Team from 9:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. to cover all four language skills. The main objective of this e-seminar is to provide the opportunity for UMP MUET candidates to equip themselves with the all-out preparation for the upcoming MUET session in 2022.

The speakers of the seminar were CML’s dedicated instructors: started with Ms. Rosnani Ismail (Reading paper), followed by Ms. Noraisah Nurul Fatwa Mohd Razali (Listening paper), Ms. Nor Suhardiliana Sahar (Writing paper) and ended with Ms. Noor Azlinda Zainal Abidin (Speaking paper). Each speaker was given about two hours to share and discuss on respective components with participants.

The seminar was attended by almost 100 candidates where the speakers provided beneficial tips and tricks for the participants to ace the exam. During the event, the speakers also gave them some revelation to the past years MUET questions and highlighted the guidelines to score for each skill.

At the end of each slot, participants were given some time for the question-and-answer session, and they were actively involved in the discussion. They were also requested to fill up the MUET E-seminar feedback survey form to cross-check their perceived usefulness of the events.

All in all, this seminar has undeniably benefitted the participants in equipping them with the required skills and strategies to tackle the upcoming MUET exam. Majority of the participants showed optimistic responses to this sharing session.
