On 6 March and 21 March 2021, several Centre for Modern Languages (CML) staffs had volunteered to manage the process of students’ physical admission to the campus. Staffs who volunteered have worked together to assist the University Health Center (PKU) in conducting health screenings on students who return to campus. According to Najjahul Huda and Jamilah Bebe, the opportunity to volunteer when the country is facing a Covid-19 pandemic is a lifetime opportunity because it requires a strong spirit and high sacrifice.

A gotong royong by Technical Staffs of Centre for Modern Languages was held on 30^th March 2021 to replace the broken chairs and furniture in the lecture rooms and lecture halls. These chairs then moved to the store room for the next process to be disposed by the Department of Property Management and Development UMP.

30^th January 2021 - Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on higher education institutions (HEI) around the world. In Malaysia, a large number of students are having trouble fulfilling entrance requirements for undergraduate studies as they have been unable to sit for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET), due to several postponement to various movement control orders (MCOs) imposed since March last year.

On 24 March 2021, a video editing class was successfully arranged for Kelas Al-Qur’an dan Fardhu Ain (KAFA) teachers at the Islamic and Human Development Centre, UMP. The class focused on the introduction to Kinemaster application to be utilised by the KAFA instructors to assist them in producing more comprehensive teaching and learning materials. Other than that, the instructors were also familiarised with chroma-key editing involving video production technique compositing procedures and effective ways to create high quality videos.
