On 1 March 2020, two classes focusing on MUET Speaking Component were conducted for 49 students at Block X, UMP Gambang. The classes were organised by Competency Unit of Centre for Modern Languages, which entail strategies and tactics in completing the oral assessment.
Competency Unit of Centre for Modern Languages has taken the initiative to conduct free MUET Online Classes for UMP students during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period. These classes aim to equip students with the necessary skills in tackling each MUET component despite the changes of MUET commencement due to the pandemic.
26 Jun 2020: A gotong royong by Technical Staffs and Cleaners from Centre for Modern Languages was held to replace the furniture in the lecture rooms and lecture halls.
13 Oktober 2020- A sharing session was conducted by Dr Wan Jumani Fauzi, PM Dr Zuraina Ali and Mr Mohd Shafierul Zaman on action research that can be conducted to enhance the teaching and learning process.

Centre for Modern Languages (CML) – Recently, a self-audit involving General Subjects or was held in accordance with the directive issued by the Department of Higher Education. This audit process covered the work process/ mechanism the revision of course materials for teaching and learning purposes as well as the development and vetting of items for the assessment and evaluation purposes.
