Program Angpau Design

On 15 January 2021, 8pm to 10pm, Mandarin Language Society (MLS) in collaboration with Pusat Kebudayaan Ump organized a Program Angpau Event with a theme of ‘True Story Of Angpau’. This program was held using the application Facebook Live Mandarin Language Society.

The program was participated by both Chinese and non-Chinese students. There is a total of 138 UMP students joined the Facebook Live of this program. 3 winners are selected based on the ‘likes’ on MLS Instagram from 09 January 2021to 14 January 2021 among 20 participants. The main objective of the program is encourage cultural exchange between UMP students and attract them to learn more the culture of Chinese society and the story behind ‘Angpau’ it.
Overall, the main objective of the Program “Discover the Chinese Calligraphy” was achieved. This program also received a strong response and the goals of the program were met.

2nd prize: Jotisri Vasudevan (SB20002)
3rd prize: Nur Syasya Munirah Binti Ahmad Munif (SE20036)
