MUET E-SEMINAR PREPARES UMPSA CANDIDATES FOR SESSION 3

The Competency Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang As-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised a comprehensive MUET E-Seminar on 22nd November 2024 for all UMPSA candidates sitting for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) this December, Session 3. The seminar, held via Google Meet platform attracted students who were eager to enhance their study strategies and boost their performance. It provided valuable insights into each test component, equipping participants with essential strategies to excel.

All slots were thoughtfully designed to address any ambiguities surrounding the MUET examination, ensuring that candidates approach it with clarity and confidence. Key details, such as important dates for the written and speaking tests, venue specifics for each campus, and the required materials, were thoroughly explained. Candidates also received a detailed overview of the examination structure and strategic advice on preparing effectively for each component.
The seminar featured a lineup of four experienced speakers:

• Listening: Ms. Noraisah Nurul Fatwa Mohd Razali
• Reading: Ms. Rosnani Ismail
• Speaking: Dr. Ezihaslinda Ngah
• Writing: Ms. Nor Suhardiliana Sahar

Each slot covered the latest MUET format, essential skills, and practical tips to help students navigate the test confidently. Participants had the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions, gaining clarity on common challenges faced by test-takers.

The seminar ended on a motivational note, with the speakers wishing all candidates the best of luck in achieving their desired results. "With the right preparation and mindset, we believe our students will perform exceptionally well," remarked Ms. Noraisah as the Head of Competency Unit during her session.

It is hoped that MUET E-Seminar will continue to be organised in the future to help students preparing and answering the exam questions.
CML extends its best wishes to all candidates sitting for MUET Session 3. Good luck, and may success be with you!
