MUET E-SEMINAR 2025: BOOSTING UMPSA MUET CANDIDATES TOWARD SUCCESS
PEKAN, 21 March 2025 - The Competency Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang As-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has organised a comprehensive MUET E-Seminar. The seminar aimed at preparing UMPSA candidates for the upcoming Malaysian University English Test (MUET) in Session 1, 2025. Held virtually via the Google Meet platform, the seminar attracted many students eager to enhance their study strategies and boost their performance ahead of the exam.
The seminar provided a thorough breakdown of the MUET components, offering essential strategies for students to excel in the exam. Each session addressed common concerns surrounding the exam, ensuring participants approached the test with confidence and clarity. Key information, including test dates, venue specifics for each campus, and required materials, was shared in detail, alongside a comprehensive overview of the exam structure.
The seminar featured a lineup of four experienced speakers who each covered a specific component of the MUET:
- Listening: Nabila Abdul Malek
- Reading: Nur Syafawati Sabuan
- Speaking: Hamizah Zahari
- Writing: Nor Suhardiliana Sahar
Each speaker provided valuable insights into the latest MUET format, essential skills for each section, and practical tips to help candidates tackle the exam confidently. The seminar included Q&A where participants clarified any doubts and gained insights on overcoming common challenges faced by test-takers.
The session concluded with a motivational message from the Coordinator of the Competency Unit, Noraisah, who encouraged all candidates to prepare thoroughly and maintain a positive mindset. “With the right preparation and mindset, we believe our students will perform exceptionally well,” she said.
In summary, the MUET E-Seminar is a recurring initiative by the Competency Unit to support UMPSA MUET candidates, in preparing for the MUET and ensuring they are fully equipped to succeed on exam day.
