FIRST PROGRESS REPORT MEETING FOR KIK (KUMPULAN INOVATIF & KREATIF) PROJECT UMPSA 2024 SIRI 1

20 Jun 2024 – The First Progress Report Meeting for KIK (Kumpulan Inovatif & Kreatif) Project - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) 2024 was held on Thursday from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM in Meeting Room 1, UMPSA Gambang Library.

This meeting provided a platform for departments from UMPSA Gambang Campus to update the progress and share crucial information about ongoing developments of their innovative and creative KIK projects for 2024.
Among the 30 competing teams, various representatives from Gambang Campus departments attended the session. This included Centre for Human Sciences (PSK), Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA), University Health Centre (PKU), Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA), Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FIST), Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), and Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP). Each department presented detailed reports on their KIK projects, discussing milestones achieved, challenges faced, and strategies to overcome these setbacks.


A notable part of the meeting was the presentation by representatives of Sujana Kirana’s team from the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Ms. Sarah Zulkiple and Ms. Marziah Ramli. They gave an update on CML's KIK project, discussing milestones, approaches, and solutions to challenges. The presentation was well received, with attendees acknowledging the analysis and vision for the project's future.


The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Norazwina Zainol, Director of the UMPSA Quality Assurance Division, who expressed optimism about the projects' futures and appreciated the constructive feedback shared.
The involvement of key departments highlighted UMPSA's commitment to fostering innovation and creativity among its staff. The discussions were dynamic, emphasizing collaborative efforts to achieve significant outcomes through the KIK projects.
