THE FINAL RECIPIENTS OF DIGITAL CONTENT CREATION INCENTIVES 2023

The e-Learning Unit, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), is pleased to announce the successful recipients of the Digital Content Creation (DCC) incentive for 2023. The objective of providing the incentives for academic staff is to acknowledge their unwavering efforts in creating digital content for teaching and learning as part of Globalised Online Learning, one of the 10 shifts of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 set by the Ministry of Education.

The incentive was open for grabs in two cycles from January until November 2023 for the submission of innovative content videos using digital animation or interactive media applications. The submitted DCCs were reviewed by the e-learning unit panels and approved at the centre’s management level. Here are our proud recipients of DCC Incentives for 2023:

Through the Centre of Resources and e-Learning (CIReL), the five CML subject matter experts (SMEs) received RM 500 each from UMPSA. 2023 is the last round of the DCC incentive to recognise the creativity and determination of UMPSA SMEs in enhancing their technological and pedagogical skills. The incentive was initiated after the urge for content creation escalated for online learning and teaching due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has transformed the education landscape by necessitating innovative approaches and adapting to new learning modes.
