MULTILINGUAL BOOK “BRIDGING CULTURES” FORGES EDUCATIONAL BOND ACROSS BORDERS

In a remarkable display of cross-cultural collaboration, students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) have embarked on an inspiring literary journey, authoring a book that transcends linguistic boundaries.

This extraordinary project, entitled "Bridging Cultures: A Multilingual Endeavor," is written in four languages - English, Malay, Vietnamese, and Arabic, signifying a powerful union of diverse cultures and languages.

The genesis of this ambitious project can be traced back to the "Kembara Mobiliti" program, a visionary initiative designed to foster global understanding and cooperation.

It is within this program that UMPSA students, not just any students but representatives of UMPSA itself, including Wan Nurfaihana and students from the public speaking cluster Arabic Language Club (KEBARA), Nur Amira (Vice President), Law Ann Gie (Secretary), and Nurfazliana (Treasurer), embarked on this creative journey.

Standing alongside these talented students is Ms. Rosjuliana Hidayu Rosli, an Arabic language teacher from the Centre for Modern Languages, who also holds the role of Principal of Residential College 3 at UMPSA. Her guidance and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in bringing this unique project to fruition.

Notably, the quality and significance of "Bridging Cultures" have been validated by experts in the field. The book underwent evaluation by experts including Ms. Hamizah Zahari, an English language teacher from the Centre for Modern Languages, and Ebtehal Atta Al-Sayed, a distinguished Ph.D. student at UMPSA.

"Bridging Cultures: A Multilingual Endeavor" stands as more than just another book; it is a testament to the transformative power of education, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

This multilingual masterpiece is poised to serve a noble purpose as it will be employed by Islamic schools in Vietnam to promote linguistic diversity, intercultural awareness, and the teachings of Islam.

As this exceptional book finds its way into the classrooms of Vietnam, it carries with it the hopes and dreams of the UMPSA students who dedicated their hearts and minds to its creation, hence, it becomes a symbol of unity, education, and the enduring bonds forged through international cooperation.
