2. Targeted Classes, E-Seminars, and Resources

We offer comprehensive classes and e-seminars to equip students with the skills required for success in their exams. Our experienced instructors and trainers provide guidance and engaging session for all language components, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar.

6. Handling UMPSA-EPT Examination

CML Competency Unit plays a vital role in guiding and supporting UMPSA staff as they prepare for the EPT (English Proficiency Test) Examination. CML trainers provide guidance, training sessions, and resources to assist them in improving their English language skills including reading, writing, and grammar before they sit for the examination. Additionally, the unit motivates staff to stay committed to their preparation by offering encouragement and supplying study materials and practice tests. Overall, the Competency Unit serves as a crucial support system for the UMPSA-EPT examination including preparing the questions papers, invigilating the examination session, marking the candidate scripts and announce the result of the test.

7. Preparatory Intensive English (PIE) Programme

The PIE Program is a specialized foundation course designed for international students preparing for undergraduate study who do not yet possess a CEFR-aligned B1 equivalent result. This comprehensive 11-week programme covers reading, writing, speaking, listening, and grammar through synchronous online learning and self-access activities. At the conclusion of the programme, our unit facilitates the MUET on Demand (MOD) examination conducted by the Malaysian Examination Council to ensure students meet their entry requirements.
